Naturally dyed with Indigo leaves

The colors of our Botanichrome capsule are obtained from plant dyes: leaves, berries, and roots that give soft shades to our certified 100% Merino Wool yarn, a strong and fine material with a silky feel to the touch which fibers measure 19.5 microns in thickness. 


Being found in nature, these dyes come from completely renewable sources, they are not toxic to the environment and gentle on your skin.

This piece was dyed with Indigo, an extremely ancient dyeing ingredient, found in many cultures around the world. The dyeing principle is in the leaves of the plant, which once fermented, can give a wide range of blues to the yarn.
