A message from our founder
To become B Corp certified, companies have to go through a thorough and rigorous assessment process involving five areas: Governance, Workers, Community, Environment, Customers.
GOVERNANCE – 16.2 POINTS
The corporate mission, and how stakeholders are involved in decision-making processes. Our mission places the figure of the artisan and his or her enhancement at the center.
WORKERS – 16.0 POINTS
Employees involvement, their physical and economic well-being, and their opportunities for career advancement.
COMMUNITY – 17.9 POINTS
The economic impact on the communities in which a company operates, its civic engagement and supply chain management. We are committed to enhancing Made in Italy and making our artisans ready for the challenges of tomorrow.
ENVIRONMENT – 25.9 POINTS
The management of practices aimed at minimizing environmental impact. Among our founding principles is the exclusive use of natural materials, making easily biodegradable pieces that do not release microplastics.
CUSTOMERS - 4.5 POINTS
The relationship with customers in terms of product quality, adoption of ethical marketing policies, and privacy of their personal data.
Our model is designed to achieve a positive impact on Italian craftsmanship and the environment.
We started in 2018 looking for manufactures that shared our vision: to create all-natural products with a transparent supply chain, to raise people's awareness toward more conscious consumption. In 2021 we became a Benefit Company, and today the B Corp certification gives us great strength to continue pursuing our goals.
Towards a better future, one knit at a time.
This is a milestone, but also a new commitment we are making. In order to maintain B Corp certification, we will undertake the evaluation and verification process every three years, demonstrating that we still meet evolving standards and adapt to the new challenges that the world imposes on us.
