The Repair Program aims to make your Artknit’s pieces look as good as new, in order to reduce waste and extend your knits’ lifecycle.

For us, sustainability is not only creating high-quality pieces in 100% natural and biodegradable fibers, but also making them last for a long time.

Infact, by increasing the life of your Artknit pieces by nine months, would reduce the annual carbon, water, and waste footprints by 20-30% each (Valuing Our Clothes Report 2017, WRAP⁣).

REPAIR AND CONDITIONING BY OUR MAKERS

For your Artknit’s pieces major issues, we’re going to send the knis to our experienced makers to fix them so you can get them back as good as new.

The services we can offer include:

- The repair service: to mend damaged knits with holes, cuts or missing elements

- The reconditioning service: to take your pieces to their original shape and softness

- The repair and conditioning service: to give a second life to damaged pieces that also need a reconditioning

All services above are carried out by our makers Eugenia and Cristina in their workshop in Emilia-Romagna, Italy and you will get your pieces back in less than 20 days.

The services are available from 18.90€ to 28.90€.

THE DO-IT-YOURSELF REPAIR KIT

A small box that will be delivered to your home with everything you need to fix the minor issues that your Artknit piece may encounter.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE REPAIR PROGRAM

HOW DOES THE SERVICE WORK?

Easy, you fill in the form for a free consultation to return your knits to their former glory. We send you the possible options in 72 hours. Then, you either send your knits to our makers or we send you a DIY repair kit. Lastly, wear it as if it was your newest purchase for many years to come.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR MY ITEMS TO BE REPAIRED/RESTORED?

If you choose the repair and conditioning service or only one of the two, it will take up to 20 days from the moment you send your pieces to receive them back to their former glory.

HOW DO I PREPARE MY ITEMS FOR COLLECTION?

For parcels in Italy, you will have to pack your pieces safely in a box and write on it the sender’s address and receiver’s address that we’re going to disclose to you after you’ve selected the repair and conditioning services.

For European orders, after you’ve chosen the repair and conditioning services, we’re going to send you a shipping label to stick on the box that you will have to bring to your closest UPS Access Point.

WHERE AM I SENDING MY PIECES TO AND WHO REPAIRS THEM?

Our Makers Eugenia and Cristina are in charge of all the repairs. They are two sisters with more than 30 years of experience in the field, working in their knitwear workshop located in Emilia-Romagna, Italy.

IS THE SERVICE FREE?

You will pay a small contribution to cover the cost of shipments and the materials. Based on the issue type, you’re going to receive a quote after filling in the form.
